Low power can be expensive too

This article disscuses the steps that a small community radio provider had to take in order to prepare a local radio station. During the creation of the low power station, they realized that timing on their FCC permit was running up and that the cost to run were going to be high. Through donations, they were able to get the station running, but they then had to create content and get the community involved to maintain interest. They have been successful thus far and hope to have their broadcast capabilites grow.
